In early 2016 we were approached by one of the oldest producers of English muffins in North America, inquiring about building a new griddle. With our long experience with baking ovens and conveyor systems, we took on this challenge with confidence. The system was built to replace an old one and had to be ready to start up in 7 working days.

In our factory we were able to build the griddle and cooling conveyor system 90% preassembled and prewired, allowing us to install it and successfully start it up schedule.  

Our griddle design introduces our multiple zone control knowledge, as used in our tunnel ovens, to provide additional temperature controllability to the customer. The result is improved zone temperature staging to produce lift for the product at the beginning with better crumb development, product quality and consistency.
